In 1997 by pooling together experience in the food preservation and business sectors Green Gold S.r.l was formed. This union’s aim is to produce, valorise, and distribute high quality products. In 2000 our new factory was inaugurated where, while using the latest technological machinery for certain processes, we aim to produce a home made and hand-treated, wholesome product.
Our marketing strategies are essentially targeted at some niche market. A particular mention goes to our tuna pickled in oil, as Green Gold has enjoyed a particularly profitable partnership with the Sardinian Tuna-fishing Consortium, in fact we have exclusivity in the production of tuna pickled in oil fished in the Carloforte and Portoscuso area. Brands that had been taken off the market over 30 years ago have been re-introduced as has an age-old recipe whereby the tuna preparation takes 6 months.
Green Gold is also active in the experiments, with other vegetable oil recipes and new recipes of sauces, creams etc .
Our strength lies in our widespread distribution network in almost all central and Northern regions of Italy as well as overseas distribution in countries such as, the USA, Peru, France, The UK, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany and others. Besides the high quality products we have on offer, we distinguish ourselves with the brave choice of distributing our “Ricette di casa mia” (recipes of my house) line only to speciality stores and food emporiums.
